LOVE, SEX & UN-Spoken Words: Is a celebration of original poetry sung by the sultry songbird, Alana DaCosta and improvised by the erotic movements of Vanya Allen. This explosive journey stimulates the senses from head to toe with passion filling every moment. An open mind and soul are all that’s required for admission, however, be prepared for the emotional roller coaster that always proves to be worth the ride.

In addition to the performances, enjoy the captioned short film, GAWKIN. This work combines the sophisticated presence of actress Sope Aluko and the sensual swagger of actress Marlaina Law. The women explore their internal fears within their perspective sexuality while contemplating a love connection. Tiptoe down an 8-minute rabbit hole, you may just like what you see. And, if you’re cravings still haven’t been satisfied, bask in the larger than life size artwork featuring Mixed Media Painter Jade Masters, Mixed Media Artist Subbora Jackson, Painter Eliane Harvey, Photographer David Muir, Painter Daniela Davidov, Painter Philip Michael Curtis and Mixed Media Artists Renda Hitz Hearts. This production contains explicit material and language. 18 and older is strongly advised.

About the producer:

Iva McDaniels

I am a published author, playwright, blogger, freelance spiritual and entertainment writer, and filmmaker. As an artist my goal is to create a body of work immersed in connecting us through universal themes of love, life, sensuality, sexuality and embracing your passion. I aim to inspire and move my audience to create from their authenticity. My belief is we all desire a better quality of life and it can be obtained by following our heart’s desire in whatever direction that takes you. My creativity is a divine service to the world and I gratefully share it.

As a freelance community and entertainment writer, I’ve worked with several publications including the first ever urban community newspaper based in South Florida, Urban America. It developed community awareness through urban culture. Sugarcane Magazine, a weekly online publication dedicated to uniting and exposing creativity from Africa and the African diaspora. Additionally, as a freelance spiritual columnist and editor, I’ve worked with the Universal Truth Center’s online spiritual newsletter, Moments of Truth. I created the column Metaphysical Movie Minute which focused on analyzing films from a metaphysical point of view. As a poet, I’ve performed in different venues including the historical Lyrical Café owned by Will “The Real One” Bell and 1310 Gallery Sailboat Bend: voted 2013 New Times Broward Best Art Gallery.
